The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page. ~St. Augustine

Paris was my favorite city in Europe by far! We took a bike tour of the city and went to Sacre Couer, the Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame. Sacre Couer stands for "Sacred Heart" and is a Roman Catholic Church. The Eiffel tower is an iron tower built in 1889 and it was the tallest manmade structure for many years, with a height of 984 feet. Notre Dame is a monstrous Gothic cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary. |

In London, we also went on a bike tour and saw some major cultural spots and tourist attractions. We walked across the London Bridge and saw the Tower of London. I never thought I'd see my favorite elementary song "London Bridges Falling Down" come to life, it was beautiful! The bridge goes over River Thames and connects the City of London and Southwark. |

In Amsterdam, we went to the Anne Frank House and the Red Light District. We walked around the city and I have never seen so many bikes in my life. People are more likely to ride a bike than drive a car. Visiting the Anne Frank was my favorite part of the city. Anne Frank was a young girl who was a victim of the Holocaust genocide. The preserved house we visited was the actual house in which she hid with her family from the Nazis for two years until she was found. |

This week was the best week of my life. The cities were incredible and I was able to experience so many different cultures and languages. All of these pictures were pictures I took while in Europe.
